Quail Ridge Neighborhood Entrance

Welcome to the Quail Ridge neighborhood on the web. We're glad that you stopped by. If you have any questions about our community, please feel free to ask our Home Owner's Association.

Located in Fort Mill, South Carolina, Quail Ridge consists of 90 beautifully constructed homes (on Blue Jay Pass, Nestling Lane, Caille Court and Peacock Run). Our quiet country setting has been described as "park-like". We have recently added a picnic shelter and playground set in our neighborhood common area.

Quail Ridge is located about 2.5 miles from I-77 (Carowinds Blvd exit or Gold Hill Road exit).  We are 20 minutes from downtown Charlotte, NC.   The Charlotte light rail station with free parking is on South Blvd (I-485 stop) is eight miles away.   We are very close to Carowinds amusement park, Lake Wyley, Tega Cay, Baxter Village and the Ballantyne Area.  Shopping is available at Carolina Place mall in Pineville, NC about 10 minutes away while the more upscale South Park Mall is 20 minutes away.

If you would like to see something of the character of our neighborhood, then feel free to visit our Featured Homes Page.  Any resident may display their home in this area, by contacting the Webmaster. We can also support residents who have homes on the market, by posting an attractive property tour -- free of charge.

  • Our most recent annual neighborhood meeting occurred in September 2014.  New Board members were elected and committee reports discussed.  Minutes are available here

  • Feel free to browse the Latest Board minutes.  Note: HOA Board minutes are in a password-protected area of the site.  Send email to the webmaster if you need the password.

  • The covenants and bylaws were approved in 2006. To view the latest version of these documents, please check out the Residents Only section of the site.

  • Our Association has an active Architecture Review Board. Residents are reminded that exterior home alterations require advance review and approval.  To notify the Architecture Review Committee of a pending project, you may email  arc@qrhoa.com.    It is the goal of the Architecture Review Board to acknowledge all requests within 48 hours. The ARB has up to 60 days to review and approve a project and will contact you to schedule a convenient time to review your project. Most projects are approved within a few days of the site visit. When submitting requests, please be sure to use this form.

A Special Welcome to Newcomers!

Quail Ridge is a welcoming and inclusive community. If there is anything we can do to help you settle in and connect to local businesses, services, doctors, veterinary, or the like, please feel free to email the Home Owner's Association. See also, our Community Services page, below.

Quail Ridge Community Services!

The QRHOA website now offers a Community Services Page to provide leads to local contractors, services, doctors, lawyers, etc.  These are vendors who either reside in our neighborhood or have been found helpful by residents.  Feel free to visit when you're looking for help with a home project.

We have also begun a list for Baby Sitters and Pet Sitters.  To nominate someone among your family or friends for the list, please send email to the Webmaster.

We now offer a Quail Ridge Trading Post.  This is a page where you can list something for sale for 30 days, or display a "wanted" request for services, merchandise or whatever.  Contact the Webmaster to submit candidates.

An Appeal For Community Service Contributions

The York County Humane Society operates the only no-kill animal shelter in our area.
They moved from Carolina Place opposite Baxter Village off Route 160 to a new location in September of 2011.  The new address is 8177 Recent Parkway, Fort Mill, SC 29715.

Other area shelters kill hundreds of animals per each year after grace periods as short as five days.  Due to sharp drops in private support, this Non Profit Organization is in danger of being forced out of operation.  They desperately need contributions.   To visit the Society and donate directly, you may select the following link:  York County Humane Society.
